Fedor Dobronravov was born on September 11, 1961 in Taganrog. Father – Victor Fedorovich, a builder. Mother – Nadezhda Alekseevna, a worker at a bakery.

As a child, the future artist was a soloist in the choir, dreamed of becoming a clown, worked in a circus studio at the recreation center of the Krasny Kotelshchik plant, where he learned to juggle, do acrobatic stunts and even walk on a wire. He also played a lot of sports: diving (had a second adult category), basketball, boxing, volleyball.In

1978, after graduating from school, Fedor tried to enter the Moscow circus school at the faculty of clownery, but according to the rules existing at that time, young men were accepted only after the army.

After serving two years in the Airborne Forces, Dobronravov got a job at a factory, where in the evenings he played in the factory’s amateur theater.

Several times the future actor unsuccessfully tried to enter the Shchukin Theater School. After another failure in Moscow, he entered the acting department of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts, from which he graduated in 1988.

After graduating from high school, Fedor worked for two years at the Voronezh youth theater “Ruble” (that is how much the entrance ticket cost), which was created on the basis of the course where Dobronravov studied. To support his family, he had to earn money as a janitor.

In 1990, Konstantin Raikin came to the performance of the youth theater, who was at that time in Voronezh on tour with the Satyricon theater. Dobronravov got to audition for him and was invited by Raikin to the troupe “Satyricon”, where he served for 13 years. He played in the performances “The Baghdad Thief”, “Hamlet”, “The Naked King”, “The Imaginary Sick”, “Threepenny Opera” and others. In 1993, Fedor Dobronravov made his film debut, playing in the film “Russian Ragtime”. Then for some time he starred in episodic and secondary roles.

At the invitation of Alexander Tsekalo, in the mid-2000s, he began to appear in the humorous sketch show “6 frames” and the show “Thank God you came!” What at first was perceived by him as “hack-work” brought immense popularity, which also contributed to his theatrical and film career.

Since 2000, Dobronravov has been actively acting in films and TV series: “The Seekers”, “Secrets of Palace Revolutions”, “The Best City of the Earth”, “Kadetstvo”, “Liquidation”. Both directors and ordinary viewers appreciate the artist’s ability to create colorful, memorable images, to play at the limit of sincerity and naturalness. Truly national love brought him the role of Ivan Stepanovich Budko in the TV series “Matchmakers”.

In 2003, at the invitation of Alexander Shirvindt, Dobronravov became an actor of the Satire Theater, where he has been working to this day.
His repertoire includes roles in performances: “The Accidental Death of an Anarchist”, “Too Married Taxi Driver”, “How to Sew an Old Woman” by others.

In parallel with working in the theater as a part-time job, together with his classmate at the Voronezh Institute of Arts Sergei Dorogov, they dubbed videos in the program “My own director”, and also wrote miniatures, some of which were performed by Yevgeny Petrosyan.

Subsequently, the actor starred in six sequels of the most popular television project, which were released in 2009 (2 and 3 seasons), 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2020.

In the same year, the actor voiced the role of Jean Sabriet in the Russian dubbing of the French comedy “Beaver to Pranks!” Dobronravov’s voice is also spoken by characters in the tapes We are Legends (2008, Xavier), Ted Jones and the Lost City (Professor Lavro, 2012), Zambezia (Ajax, 2012), Cat Thunder and the Enchanted House (Jack Rabbit, 2013).
